It’s Thanksgiving week! We absolutely love this holiday because we love reflecting on the many blessings of the year and seeing what God has done. Thanksgiving meal is also just the BEST. One of our favorite things to do is get up, make some coffee, and watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade while we help our parents get the meal ready.
Even though Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful, we think that being grateful shouldn’t just happen once a year. Instead, we’ve been working on having an attitude of gratitude that’s not limited to the month of November, but spans the whole year.
It’s the idea of being grateful for the little moments and seeing the blessing in every day. Lately, I’ve been trying to slow down and really treasure the simple moments and writing down a couple things I’m thankful for each morning. Setting my day up by being grateful shifts my attitude and perspective.
